---Scroll Down to Register--- This walk, which will be approximately 10 miles, will form a loop touring the downtowns of both Kansas Cities. We will visit the City Market, West Bottoms, Downtown KCK, Strawberry Hill, Argentine, the Crossroads, the Power & Light District, and the Central Business District. The walk will begin at 9:00am at City Market Park, which is located immediately west of the City Market and immediately north of the parking lot at 5th & Main. The loop should return us to the City Market around 12 to 12:30. Preparation Tips: It's likely to be hot, so bring lots of water. There are some stratches where you will not be able to get a refill. Sunscreen is recommended. Carry a cellphone so you can call for a ride if you need to stop during the walk. Driving Directions to the Starting Point: City Market Park is located just west of the City Market. It is between Main & Delaware, and between 3rd & 5th. Gather on the brick path under the trees at the north end of the park. Registration is required for this walk. We will begin walking at 9:00am.
